Britax Römer’s Dualfix iSize has been named a 2018 winner of the prestigious iF Design Awards, taking top spot in the babies/kids category.
The iF International Design Forum is the world’s oldest independent design organisation and its awards are fiercely competitive, with more than 6,400 entries submitted from 54 different countries this year.
The premium car seat was selected by the 63-member international jury of independent experts due to its major advancements in comfort, safety and design. It was recognised for its aesthetic, curved black shell as well as its superior engineering that makes parent’s lives easier and children safer on car journeys.
The 360 degree rotatable car seat can be used either rearward or forward-facing with easy entry and exit for the child. It comes with six recline positions in both directions, including ergonomically flat positions for newborns. The deeply padded side wings also provide optimum security along the entire seat.
“Our aim with the Dualfix iSize was to achieve elegant simplicity in both form and function,” said Richard Frank, engineering and product director EMEA. “We are thrilled it was honoured with the iF Design Award for its sleek look and sophisticated engineering.”
