Britains has been enjoying a successful collaboration with farming theme park The BIG Sheep over the summer, as part of its celebrations to mark 100 years.
Following on from its partnership with Rural Farm Living Museum, the British farming toy brand has been working with the Devon amusement park on a raft of activity.
This included a Britains-inspired toy trail, with seven Britains’ posters hidden around the park for families to spot along the way. There are also a number of photo opportunities, with visitors who upload their best snap with the Britains frame to Facebook or Instagram in with a chance of winning over £100 worth of Britains Farm Toys including Farm in a Box, JCB 6T Dumper, Land Rover Horse Play-set and International Harvester Farmall 1066 Tractor.
“This centenary year is an incredible milestone for the Britains brand, which is why we have arranged plenty of exciting partnerships to help us and our wonderful fans celebrate this landmark,” commented Mary Wood, general manager UK and Ireland at TOMY. “While we have many avid collectors of the brand who have added to their vast collection of Britains products over the years, the brand is also iconic with today’s generation, which is why we have teamed up with The BIG Sheep to create an experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
“The BIG Sheep activity trail is filled with ways to keep kids entertained and has created a really exciting day out where children can learn and play – perfect for the summer holidays. We’re so thankful to The BIG Sheep team for helping us celebrate our 100-year anniversary, and hope it fills families’ summers with heaps of entertainment.”
Rick Turner at The BIG Sheep added: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Britains to help mark their incredible 100-year anniversary. We have created a unique experience for farming friends and families that visit the venue and the added Britains surprises will provide even more excitement here at The BIG Sheep.
“We can’t wait for everyone to come down and take part in the Britains fun and we’re looking forward to seeing all of the fab pictures as a result of our social media competition.”
The experience kicked off on 21 August and runs for three months.
