Popular daytime television show Lorraine celebrated World Breastfeeding Week (which took place from 1 – 7 August 2018), giving airtime to a number of key feeding brands, including Medela and Bravado Designs.
The daily magazine show, which is watched by 1.1milllion viewers each day, covered the celebration of breastfeeding with a number of celebrity-fronted features and discussion panels. Medela’s Swing electric breast pump and Bravado Designs Clip and Pump hands-free nursing bra accessory were discussed by mum-to-be Christine Lampard and widely respected TV Doctor, Hilary Jones.
During a discussion on the benefits of breastfeeding versus formula, Dr. Hilary Jones recommended a select few products while the presenters discussed the benefits of pumping to support breastfeeding, especially when returning to work. Medela’s iconic Swing took centre stage while the revolutionary Clip and Pump from Bravado also made the cut.
“We were so pleased to see Medela and Bravado Designs feature on ITV’s Lorraine during World Breastfeeding Week,” said bumpPR founder and director, Lisa Bryant, who looks after the PR for both brands. “We know how competitive the industry is with so many brilliant products designed to help ease a mother’s breastfeeding journey. It’s just fantastic to see two of our own clients make the cut.”
