The Baby Products Association’s UK Pavilion at CBME in Shanghai is now open for bookings, offering companies the opportunity to enter the fast-growing Chinese market.
The Department for International Trade (DIT) has allocated funding for this event, meaning that companies interested in attending could receive a TAP grant to help with the funding, subject to eligibility.
The show, which takes place from 25 to 27 July 2018 is the largest baby trade show in the world, with almost 3,000 exhibitors and 88,000 trade buyers attending.
Companies participating in the UK Pavilion last year reported an outstanding show. “There is great interest in new products and the potential value of orders could be very high,” said Catherine Curtis of Baby Hub UK.
Nikos Tomadakis of Manmar agreed, commenting; “CBME is a great exhibition with serious Chinese buyers and lots of visitors from Thailand, Korea and Japan. I think this is the best exhibition for South East Asia.”
The BPA has already received considerable interest from companies wishing to participate in the UK Pavilion this year, so with limited space available, potential exhibitors are advised to reserve space as soon as possible.
