Bigjigs Toys has welcomed Nicki Gumbrell as its new UK and Eire sales manager.
Nicki (pictured) has started on a part time basis and will start full time from 1 September.
She comes with a wealth of experience in the toy and gift industry, following a 17-year career at Gibsons and, more recently, at Abrams and Chronicle Books. She has a track record of leading and developing sales teams across growing and established brands.
“Nicki is a fabulous addition to the team here at Bigjigs,” commented Sam Ireland, operations director at Bigjigs Toys. “She brings with her a fantastic can-do attitude and a reputation in the industry among retailers that is exemplary. She is going to be a real asset to our team and customers as we move forward into Q4 and beyond.”
Nicki continued: “I am delighted to be joining the Bigjigs team – with 30+ years’ experience in various sales roles, I am looking forward to adding to their ongoing success story and working with the sales team to continue building on strong foundations. September is an excellent time to start, with the Top Drawer show providing a great opportunity to meet buyers and customers, and get stuck in with finding my way around the amazing product range.”
Nicki will be at Autumn Fair on 4 September and Top Drawer on 10-12 September.
