Axkid launches limited edition Blossom Rose Car Seat

The new seat has been designed to help raise awareness of early detection of breast cancer.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Swedish car seat safety champion Axkid, has introduced the limited edition Blossom Rose colourway across its One 3, Minikid 4 and Movekid models.

For Axkid, safety goes beyond the car—it’s about protecting the whole family. By prioritising the wellbeing of families, Axkid not only creates safe car seats for children but also promotes initiatives that safeguard family health. This is why the company is raising awareness of breast cancer early detection, knowing that care and protection start with awareness.

This launch honours the strength of mothers, daughters, sisters, and grandmothers affected by breast cancer and aims to promote awareness about the importance of early detection and self-examination.

While great progress has been made in breast cancer research, early detection remains critical in saving lives. With nine out of 10 surviving breast cancer because of an early diagnosis and improved treatments, Axkid is committed to helping to spread the word regarding self-examination.

The Blossom Rose edition, now available in the UK, represents Axkid’s dedication not only to child safety but also to the health and wellbeing of families.

Axkid is encouraging women to take time to learn about breast self-examinations as an essential practice in everyday life. Throughout October, Axkid will be sharing guidance on how to perform self-examinations, focussing attention on how early detection can significantly improve survival rates. Axkid has also designed a media pack which has been made available to retailers so they can also join in and support this important campaign.

“As a brand committed to protecting families, we understand that safety goes beyond just car seats. Early detection of breast cancer can save lives, and we’re proud to support this important cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By raising awareness, we hope to encourage more families to prioritise their health and wellbeing, just as we prioritise their safety on the road,” said Jayne Caul, UK director of Axkid.

Axkid has also made a donation to the Swedish Breast Cancer Association, which not only funds vital research but also provides much-needed support for those affected by breast cancer.
