Recaro child safety and Avova have signed a long term partnership agreement for premium child seats and strollers.
The agreement, effective from January 16, 2024, covers the development, production and global distribution of premium child seats and strollers under the Recaro brand name.
The Recaro Child Safety brand will be closely aligned with the rich history of the Recaro brand and the major automotive and aviation divisions. The brand will offer a modern and distinctive product design, fresh colours, and a stronger focus on the needs of today’s parents.
Joe Qiu, global ceo of Avova, commented: “We believe that this partnership will bring great benefits to both companies and all our stakeholders. We will be able to access new markets, customers, and opportunities, and we will also be able to offer more career development and growth opportunities for our employees, and we will be able to contribute more to the society and the environment. The newly strengthened organizational setup to drive this key objective will be announced shortly.”
Dr Mark Hiller, ceo of Recaro Holding and Recaro Aircraft Seating, added: “We take a lot of pride in our premium seating products, and child safety seating is no exception. This new partnership with Avova will help better protect children while making their journey more comfortable and pleasant. I am confident that we are embarking on an exciting journey of innovation and top-tier product development.”
Recognising the importance of child safety seating as a main driver for design, Recaro products are a direct translation of its core values of safety, quality and ingenious design into products which can be sold worldwide.”
Rene Dankwerth, chief business development officer at Recaro, continued: “We look forward to collaborating with our new partner, and I am confident that, together, we can elevate the Recaro brand and provide an enhanced product portfolio that sets a new standard in seating.”
The first new child seats and strollers will be launched into the market in Europe and Asia this year.
