Aqua Wipes extends range

The new product portfolio includes three tiers of wipes, while also supporting a long-term donation partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Aqua Wipes is a business which is driven to educate on the need to live more sustainably, and as the demand for plastic free products has grown, the company has introduced product designed to give parents more choice to protect their baby and the planet.

The new range includes three tiers of wipe. The Premium 3-in-1 is a biodegradable, plastic free baby wipe with barrier protection technology to soothe and protect newborn skin. The barrier technology has been adapted from partner brand, Clinicept Patient Continence wipes, which has been supplied to and trusted by the NHS for over 10 years.

The Originals are biodegradable, plastic free wipes with Aloe Vera for newborn skin, trusted by the NHS. Available in 64 wipe packs, and 12 wipe travel packs, the range also includes Gentle Eyelid Wipes in pack sizes of 20 sterile wipes.

Finally the Essentials – biodegradable, plastic free baby wipes at everyday prices in various bundles of a 56-wipe pack size.

A new ecommerce website includes a bespoke baby-face icon which will become synonymous with the brand and the subscription service enables customers to select a delivery frequency for their needs.

Aqua Wipes has also been developing its commercial partnerships, working closely with MadeforMums to gift sample packs at the Baby Show events; Custard & Crumble and Emma’s Diary leafletting; and The Mum Club to sample packs at its growing network of social events.

The most notable partnership is with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH). The collaboration manifests across the range with co-branded packs and a donation made to the charity with every sale.

Dr Mark Little, managing director of Aqua Wipes, explained: “This is a significant progression for the brand, and the team has worked tirelessly on product development, new commercial partnerships and embracing new technologies to secure an exciting future for the brand.

“We have always been motivated by children and caring for their future, so donating to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity seemed a perfect fit. Our ambition is to create a lasting memorable and measurable impact for seriously ill children across the country.”
