Animated series Tinpo extends into publishing thanks to Hachette

Hachette Children’s Group will adapt preschool animation into a wide range of book and activity formats.

Hachette Children’s Group is to adapt CGI preschool animation Tinpo into a wide range of book and activity formats.

The deal – which was brokered by The Point.1888 on behalf of Cloudco Entertainment – will see the launch of a new range of picture books, annuals, story books, activity books and novelty books featuring the characters and stories from the popular children’s series.

Since launching in February 2019 via a prime slot of CBeebies, Tinpo has become a favourite among the preschool audience of the channel.

It combines themes of construction and unconventional problem solving.

In addition to the UK, the show launched last month in Japan on TV Tokyo and in June in Latin America on Nick Jr/Noggin, with further broadcaster announcements due shortly.
