Christine Roberts, head of licensing at Misirli, explains why the company supports the Progressive Preschool Awards.
Why do you sponsor the Progressive Preschool Awards?
Christine: “Misirli is keen to support our industry as much as we can, and the PPS Awards provide a perfect opportunity to do this. The preschool sector has been instrumental in the growth of Misirli and we feel that it is important that that is recognised by coming together with industry clients and friends to celebrate.”
Why did Misirli choose Best Multiple Retailer of Preschool Products as the category it would like to sponsor?
Christine: “Without the support of retailers championing licensed preschool ranges, we would not have had the success that we have enjoyed over the years within the preschool market. Therefore, it is important that we ensure retailers continue to focus on preschool, and the multiple retailers have the store space and platforms to do this.”
What’s your favourite thing about the awards?
Christine: “The chance to catch up with the licensing industry but also to see the great products in the preschool sector, outside of licensing. Plus, it always feels like the event that kicks off the festive season!”

Christine: “To really understand what a fantastic, friendly, creative industry it is. A chance to network and potentially meet your next partnership opportunity! And the entertainment, food and atmosphere never disappoint.”
