Bigjigs Toys has acquired popular jigsaw brand, the House of Puzzles – marking the beginning of a new chapter for the company as it moves into the cardboard jigsaw category.
The House of Puzzles range of 350+ jigsaws has been a popular draw for decades, with the range celebrated for its artist-illustrated designs and exceptional craftsmanship.
“We are honoured to welcome The House of Puzzles into the Bigjigs family,” commented Sam Ireland, operations director at Bigjigs Toys. “Puzzles were the first product mum and dad created back in 1985, so this exciting acquisition feels like the perfect fit. Looking ahead, we are committed to preserving the legacy of this beloved brand, while infusing it with a Bigjigs touch of playfulness and innovation.”
Ivor Cohen, a founder of The House of Puzzles, added: “We are delighted to pass the torch to Bigjigs Toys. Their stewardship, experience, and drive will re-energise The House of Puzzles, and we look forward to seeing it reach new heights under Bigjigs’ skill and guidance.”
Going forward, retailers can expect to see fresh designs introduced and new products launched, while ensuring continuity of the current range.
