Redan Publishing has revealed promotions for two key members of its team.
Having held the role of marketing and licensing manager for the past four years, Joanne Ellis has been promoted to head of marketing and licensing.
In her new position, Joanne will develop both areas further to meet the needs of the company, leading a small team, setting and steering Redan’s marketing strategy, developing existing licensing partnerships as well as securing new ones.
“I am thrilled to take on this new challenge and to continue working with such a talented and passionate team,” said Joanne. “Redan Publishing is a leader in creating engaging and educational content for children, and I look forward to expanding our reach and impact through our marketing and licensing efforts.”
Meanwhile, Jonny Williams has been promoted to financial controller, taking over the lead of Redan’s finance team, having been with the company for over five years.
During this time, he has successfully completed his Accountancy certification, while developing a deep knowledge and understanding of the publishing business, delivering key reporting to Redan’s senior team and key partners.
“I am honoured to be promoted to financial controller and to be part of such a dynamic and innovative company,” said Jonny. “Redan Publishing has a strong financial background and a clear vision for the future, and I am excited to contribute to its growth and success.”
Julie Jones, md at Redan Publishing, added: “I am delighted to announce these two well-deserved promotions and to see these two inspiring and dedicated individuals rise to the next level.
“Jo has proven herself to be a creative thinker, business collaborator and a determined driver in all aspects of our marketing and licensing areas which are critical to our business. Jonny is a quick and keen learner and has instigated projects to streamline and optimise accounting processes and needs. He has become an integral part of the company, bringing in his own well thought-out ideas and input and is a pleasure to work with.
“I wish them both well in their new positions and look forward to seeing how they develop further within Redan.”
