Progressive Preschool Awards: Retail finalists take a bow

The finalists in the five major retail categories at the Progressive Preschool Awards 2022 – Best Supermarket, Best Multiple, Best Mixed Category, Best Department Store and Best Online – have been revealed today (20 October).

The news follows on from the big reveal for the prestigious Product categories and for the hotly contested Marketing category.

Retailers have been nominated from all over the UK in the months leading up to the judging, and consisted of both self-nomination plus high levels of nominations from suppliers, reps and agents.

A panel of experts from across the preschool industry then deliberated to arrive at the finalists for 2022.

“The retail landscape is ever changing and this year’s nominations, and indeed the voting panel itself, recognise those retailers which have adapted, excelled and ultimately delivered experiences that keep consumers engaged and purchasing,” said Rob Willis, director of Max Publishing (which owns and organises the Progressive Preschool Awards).

The Progressive Preschool Awards – which takes place on Tuesday 15 November – is marking its tenth anniversary this year, moving to the Royal Lancaster London as part of the celebrations.

It is endorsed and sponsored by a raft of leading names.
