tonies announces new licensed line-up

The musical storybox is welcoming seven new Tonies full of adventure, stories and music.

New additions include classics from Roald Dahl, Beatrix Potter, Julia Donaldson and Michael Rosen, while Disney Princess fans will welcome Pocahontas and Netflix favourites My Little Pony and Karma’s World are also part of the line-up.

Michael Rosen’s award-winning We’re Going on a Bear Hunt will launch in Tonie-form, and features two songs by George Ezra.

Meanwhile, a new generation of Dahl fans will hear Kate Winslet narrating Roald Dahl’s Matilda. And Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler are back to share two popular rhyming stories – The Snail and the Whale and The Smartest Giant in Town.

My Little Pony fans will be able to listen to the story of the movie My Little Pony: A New Generation, as well as singing along to original songs from the film.

Also from Netflix, the Karma’s World Tonie follows the inspiring journey of a lyrically gifted school school on a quest to find her voice so that she can change the world.

Pocahontas joins the line-up with the story of her friendship with Captain John Smith. Meanwhile, Beatrix Potter returns with a heart-warming collection of her most famous tales to help children wind down before bedtime. Narrated by a host of British talent, the tonie includes the tales of Jemima Puddle-Duck, Tom Kitten, Samuel Whiskers and Mrs Tittlemouse.

Pinky Laing, partnership and PR manger, said: “As part of our continued commitment to deliver incredible content to our little listeners, we’re super excited to bring to life another selection of treasured stories from some of the world’s best-loved children’s authors, including Roald Dahl, Micheal Rosen, Beatrix Potter, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

“It’s also been an absolute pleasure to partner up with My Little Pony and Karma’s World for an incredible mix of fun and adventure. From classic stories to Netflix favourites, our September releases offer something every little listener will love.”

tonies has also partnered with kids’ mindfulness app, Moshi, to provide an assortment of free content to make bedtime easier. The mindfulness content is ideal for bedtimes and also stressful moments. Designed for nuerodivergent children, as well as those who need a little help to soothe their minds after a long day at school or a meltdown moment, Moshi’s content will ease their worries and encourage relaxing mindfulness in every day life.

Moshi’s free content can be downloaded from mytonies.com now, with future content drops throughout autumn to follow.

Liz Peters, head of portfolio UK, commented: “Moshi gets kids to sleep faster, for longer, and knowing that so many parents already use their Toniebox as a bedtime companion, tonies x Moshi presents the perfect partnership. Moshi is the #1 kids’ sleep and mindfulness app in over 60+ countries and so many parents rely on it to help their children get to sleep.

“Working with the team at Moshi has been an absolute delight, and our free content drops are just the start of our collaboration. I’m sure there are going to be so many relieved parents rushing to download free Moshi content from our Mytonies app straight to their kids’ Creative-Tonies.”

Christianne Amodio, Moshi Global ceo, added: “Moshi Kids couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with tonies. Making mindfulness magical for little ones is our #1 mission, and we can’t wait to see Moshi’s uniquely dreamy world of stories, meditations and music come alive on the Toniebox.”
