The breastfeeding brand relaunched its popular breastfeeding friendly window sticker campaign to mark World Breastfeeding Week.
Whether it’s a cafe, restaurant or community centre, the nationwide initiative celebrates every establishment which offers a welcoming space for breastfeeding families.
Understanding that many mums can feel apprehensive about breastfeeding in public, Medela is passionate about spreading positivity and support with its campaign. Offering reassurance for families before they have entered, the heart shaped sticker shows to families that they are welcome, helping provide some extra confidence.
The relaunch will see hundreds of window stickers appearing in windows throughout the UK, with Medela’s community nominating their favourite establishments to receive a sticker.
Medela UK’s marketing manager, Charlotte Price, commented: “We’ve always been so proud to encourage mums to breastfeed with confidence wherever they may be, and it is so important that mums feel comfortable when they breastfeed out and about. Our window stickers are a great way for mums to identify a location they can stop to breastfeed their little one in a welcoming and relaxing space.
“It’s also so important to us to hear directly from families for their nominations, as no one understands local hot spots better than our Medela mums.”
