After an incredibly difficult couple of weeks for the Ukrainian company Dodo, Halilit is thankful to announce that the team are all now safe and planning its strategy to secure the company’s future.
The games and puzzles manufacturer – which is based in Kharkiv, Ukraine – has been able to secure safe passage of its stock over to its warehouse in Poland and is currently making the difficult journey as regularly as possible to ensure that stock is plentiful for the European market to continue supply with minimal disruption.
Having spoken with the team via video call last week, Halilit was relieved to hear that everybody was safe and well, and was humbled by the resourceful and resilient nature of the Dodo team.
“Although they are surrounded by the most atrocious of circumstances, the company are adamant that they want supply to continue ‘as normal’ and are doing their utmost to ensure that their loyal staff have a future once this war is over,” commented Judith Stark, md of Halilit. “They refuse to let the events of the past few weeks detract from what they have built in a popular puzzles and games brand, and are keen to continue building on the success they have seen so far here in the UK.”
Halilit will be taking the Dodo collection to the upcoming INDX and Toymaster shows in April and May respectively.
