Cribstar’s Peanuts collection wins Best Licensed Apparel or Accessories Range, while Peppa Pig and The Very Hungry Caterpillar also pick up accolades.
A host of preschool names and brands are celebrating after picking up prestigious accolades this week at The Licensing Awards 2020.
Cribstar’s Peanuts collection was awarded Best Licensed Preschool Apparel or Accessories Range at Wednesday’s (December 16) virtual ceremony.
The company’s Jadwiga Batatawala told PreschoolNews.net: “Going into the awards we really didn’t think we had a chance, so the win has come as a real shock to us. We are a small company so to be recognised in this way really is a great way to end the year.
“A big thank you to the team at WildBrain CPLG who made the range a possibility and also a big thank you to the team at Max Publishing for bringing everyone together in these strange times.”
Meanwhile, it was a good night for the classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar brand.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Royal Horticultural Society Summer Partnership – put together with Rocket Licensing – won Best Licensed Promotions Campaign, while Christy’s By Design picked up Best Licensed Dress-up or Partyware Range for its The Very Hungry Caterpillar Butterfly Dress-up for George @ Asda.
Peppa Pig also performed well, picking up the award for Best Preschool Licensed Property, while Ladybird’s Peppa Pig range won Best Licensed Written, Listening or Learning Range.
