Luxury pushchair brand Bugaboo has launched its two newest models online following a change of plans to its official launch event due to Covid-19 (coronavirus) restrictions.
The Fox2 and Donkey3 launch still went ahead as planned, featuring live demonstrations of both new products by the lead designer, Aernout Dijkstra-Hellinga. The new editions are improved evolutions of the existing, much-loved products, with drastically reduced packaging as the company progresses its mission towards a more sustainable future.
“Parents are becoming more and more aware of the environment and want to make better choices,” said Aernout. “The Bugaboo Fox2 and Donkey3 answer that need because they are designed to stand the test of time.”
The online launch was carefully tailored to help ease the concerns of customers who are obviously not able to have their regular in-person demonstrations.
“We are pleased to have been able to launch the new Bugaboo Fox2 and Bugaboo Donkey3 on 1 April 2020 as planned,” said a spokesperson. “Stock availability is good and these products will be available through online channels while the retail situation is affected by closures.”
“Regarding the Covid-19 Coronavirus, as the situation is evolving on a daily-basis we will continue to update on product news and provide support for our customers via bugaboo.com and Bugaboo social media channels.”
