Paddington among winners at British Animation Awards

The Adventures of Paddington picks up Best Children’s Preschool Series at event.

New preschool show The Adventures of Paddington has got off to a strong start in the UK, picking up the Best Children’s Preschool Series award at last week’s British Animation Awards.

The BAA helps to support, promote and credit the very best of productions and celebrates all that is great about the industry in the UK. The event is now in its 13th edition and was held at the BFI Southbank.

The Adventures of Paddington – which is airing on the Nickelodeon network in the UK – was rewarded for its rich detail in production design, beautiful and crisp animation, wonderful storytelling and characterful charm.

The winners of each category received an original artwork produced by some of the finest artists and animators working in the creative industries. For Paddington this year, the prize was created by Jim Le Fevre.
