With the annual trade show season already off to a strong start, the preschool industry is starting to look forward to getting underway with the 2019 tradeshow season, taking in London Toy Fair, Spielwarenmesse, Spring Fair, INDX Kidswear and New York Toy Fair.
The first issue of Progressive Preschool of 2019 contains previews of all the most important tradeshows for our sector, starting off with London Toy Fair, the first UK trade show of the year. This year’s show sold out back in October and, if our appointment diary is anything to go by, is already shaping up to be one of the busiest shows for a number of years.
It’s a similar story for Nuremberg’s Toy Fair, AKA Spielwarenmesse, which will be celebrating its 70th birthday when it opens just a few days later. As the world’s largest toy fair it boasts more than 3,000 exhibitors, making it easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of product available. The UK Pavilion – which has increased in size for 2019 – is always a good place to start.
Hot on the heels of Spielwarenmesse comes Spring Fair at the NEC, which is ideal for catching up with all manner of preschool toy and gift companies. Last but by no means least are the final two shows of the Great Preschool Tradeshow Tour; INDX Kidswear (in Solihull) and New York Toy Fair (in New York!).
Whether you are planning to visit all of these shows or just the one, there are few better places to take stock of the Christmas season just gone and focus your attentions on emerging trends and enduring classics alike. Whatever you are looking for, if you can’t find it at one of these, it probably doesn’t exist.
We will be there, roaming the aisles and generally making nuisances of ourselves, so if you fancy catching up, get in touch.
