Indie Toy and Gift marks successful 2018 show

Cranmore Park show is ‘best supported ever’ with organisers thanking retail visitors.

This year’s Indie Toy and Gift Show has been hailed a success, with the organiser thanking all the retail visitors who helped to make it the ‘best supported ever’.

PlaY-room said that it received encouraging comments from both buyers and exhibitors old and new to the event, which had a plush theme this year.

Visitors were greeted with an array of themed displays from key soft toy suppliers including Ty, Keel Toys, Aurora, Keycraft and Posh Paws.

In addition, the Best Stand award – which was judged by David Flynn from John Sanders/Toys UK – was given to The Puppet Company for its ‘earthy’ display of its new Wilberry plush range.

The show – which took place at Cranmore Park, Solihull on May 1 and 2 – marked the tenth anniversary of plaY-room, with visitors enjoying cake during the day and leaving with a special goody bag.
