Children’s organic and ethical clothing company Frugi has officially opened the application process for its popular Little Clothes BIG Change children’s charity partnership.
Every year the brand donates 1% of its turnover to charity partners chosen by its customers. The brand has decided to support this year’s selected charity for two years (2018 – 2020), making it a great time to get involved.
The company is encouraging charities that make a difference to the lives of little ones to apply for funding. In particular, it welcomes applications from real people and grassroots initiatives that need help in making a positive difference to the lives of children around the world.
Philanthropic work has been fundamental to Frugi since day one, and the company has so far donated over £428,000 to charitable causes.
In 2016/17 the Little Clothes BIG Change initiative raised a phenomenal £79,000 which was divided between three children’s charities both in the UK and overseas.
This year Frugi has been working with the charity Kicks Count on the ‘Finding A Rainbow’ project to raise awareness of baby movements in pregnancy, as well as a special orphanage in Umbergaon, India.
“Donating 1% of our turnover every year is at the heart of the brand’s DNA,” said Helene Weston, Frugi’s charity coordinator. “We are extremely proud of all the support we have provided to various charities over the years and want to encourage as many charities as possible to step forward and apply.”
